Queen’s Death might result in Meghan and Harry being separated
Harry and Meghan decided to leave the royal family since they have been in dispute for the last two years even though it seems things are beginning to cool off.
Harry left with his family for the US as he wanted a new and private life.
After moving across the Atlantic, he only went back to the UK on special occasions like the unveiling of the statue of her mother, Princess Diana and the burial of her grandfather, Prince Phillip.
An expert claims the next time they might return to the UK will be during the passing of Queen Elizabeth, and Harry might do so without his wife, Meghan.
According to a news outlet, Prince Charles hasn’t met his grandchildren and has once invited them to his home in the UK. It seems like that’s the only place they can get to stay once they get to the UK because of the security issues they are facing.
They made a statement through their legal counsellors claiming that if they are to return to the British shores again they have to be promised adequate protection.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry had sought a judicial review of a Home Office decision not to allow him to pay for police protection while in the UK. Shortly after, the couple’s legal representatives issued a statement, saying that Harry “inherited a security risk at birth, for life.”
Harry and Meghan have a private security team in the US. However, they don’t have adequate jurisdiction to protect them while they’re in the UK. The aforementioned statement details that Harry and his family are not willing to return to his UK home without added protection, according to reports.
The statement read, “While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the Royal Family has not. Nor has the threat to him and his family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally fund a private security team for their family, yet that security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed while in the UK. In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home.”
The had security teams Which were funded by the taxpayers money, but after stepping back from their royal duties in 2020 they lost such royal privileges.
The Queen’s platinum jubilee is getting closer and there are questions whether Harry will be in attendance with his family.
An insider told the US news outlet, “Harry has his heart set on returning to the UK to see the queen with Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet, but that will only happen if the government takes the appropriate measures to protect his family. He refuses to put them at risk. Their safety comes before anything else.”
Another source also claims that if Prince Harry decides to come back to the UK he might do so without Meghan and they might have to enter a long-distance marriage.
Tina Brown said as quoted by the Mirror,“I think that Harry is going to want to come back when the Queen dies to serve his country. And I think they will find a way to reel him in. And it’s possible that Meghan – maybe they will have a commuter arrangement. I don’t know. I don’t see Meghan ever wanting to go back. She disliked England.”
