The heartbreaking explanation for why Meghan never wanted Prince Archie to attend a UK school

In May, Prince Archie celebrated his second birthday on the same day that his grandfather was crowned King.
The small kid, who will begin school in a few years, is having his greatest life in California with his parents, Harry and Meghan, and his younger sister, Lilibet.

Historically, royal children have attended some of the top schools in the UK, such as Eton, which Prince William attended and where Prince George will follow in three years. Archie and Lilibet, on the other hand, will attend school in the United States.

The Duke and Duchess would not have wanted Archie and Lilibet to attend college in the US even if Harry and Meghan had chosen to remain in the UK rather than emigrate.

Archie, the son of Harry and Meghan, was delivered at The Portland Hospital in London on May 6, 2019. It was a momentous occasion, as with the birth of any royal child, but Harry and Meghan took a different approach.

Katie Nicholl, a royal specialist, claims that Harry was fixated on withholding information about the birth of his baby from the media. Nicholl referred to Harry’s desire to keep Archie’s birth as “almost morbidly obsessed” in The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown.

The little prince will receive an education in the United States rather than at one of the prestigious British institutions like Eton, where Prince George is rumoured to start his schooling in three years.

Even if he attended school in the UK, Harry and Meghan would not be interested in it. And there’s a really tragic reason why it is.

Journalist Allison P. Davies described a chat she had with Meghan in an article for the New York magazine, The Cut. The Duchess claimed that she was worried about Archie’s safety and did not want him to attend school in the UK.

Meghan would be worried about the security of both Archie and herself.

If Archie were enrolled in school in the UK, she said, “she’d never be able to do school pickup and drop-off without it being a royal photo call with a press pen of 40 people snapping pictures,” according to Davies, as quoted by Yahoo.

I’m sorry, but I have a problem with that, Meghan said to Allison. That doesn’t make me a privacy nut, though. That makes me a capable and strong parent who is defending my child.

The Duke and Duchess have previously expressed fears about their safety. Harry previously expressed concern for his son’s safety in the UK and described the paparazzi culture as a “rabid feeding frenzy.” Children are not given a choice or a voice.

“We lived at [friend] Tyler Perry’s house for the first three and a half months,” Harry added. “It was crazy with the helicopters, the drones, and the paparazzi cutting the fence. And the response from the general public was, “What do you expect if you live in LA?”

First off, we never intended to settle in Los Angeles. This is a search area for potential homes. Second, how unfortunate that if you reside in Los Angeles and are a famous person, you simply have to anticipate that.
