According to a royal specialist, Kate made the decision to forgo having her kids visit her in the clinic. And there’s a perfectly good explanation for it.

Even though the Princess of Wales hadn’t been spotted in public for a few weeks when the surgery news was announced, she hadn’t displayed any symptoms of illness.

Ingrid Seward, a biographer and royal specialist, claims that Kate Middleton herself thoughtfully declined to have her kids visit her at The London Clinic. She stated in an interview with People Magazine that her desire to respect other patients overruled her want to see them.
