Melania Trump was “mocked” by Queen Elizabeth through imitation
Donald Trump has a unique relationship with the British Royal Family, and it hasn’t always been good. The US president and his wife, Melania, have met with the British monarchy on a number of occasions, with varying outcomes. For instance, Queen Elizabeth reportedly called Trump “rude,” and Melania hasn’t been exempt either. A royal expert claims that the late queen even once pretended to be the First Lady.
Donald Trump has met international leaders, royalty, and dignitaries all over the world throughout his years in the spotlight. The president conducted a number of state visits throughout the world after taking office for the first time in 2016, including a visit to Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth II. In 2018, Trump and Queen Elizabeth had their first meeting.

Although most of what truly transpired inside the Palace’s walls will probably never be made public, one author, Craig Brown, has disclosed startling information about the meeting.
Brown portrayed Trump in a negative light in his biography Voyage Around The Queen, which was serialised in the Daily Mail. He stated that the queen thought Trump was “very rude.” “During her reign, Her Majesty hosted a number of controversial foreign leaders, such as Vladimir Putin, Emperor Hirohito, Donald Trump, Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe, and Bashar al-Assad,” Brown said. “She might not have enjoyed their company; she might have even discreetly expressed her disapproval when they left,” he added.
For example, she told a lunch guest a few weeks after President Trump’s visit that she thought he was “very rude,” and she especially didn’t enjoy the way he kept gazing over her shoulder as if he was hunting for someone more fascinating.
Queen Elizabeth was renowned for her outstanding service to the Crown and her demeanour towards any public figure, politician, or international leader she encountered. She was also a master at utilising witty language to make others laugh, and she had a wonderful sense of humour. One quality she possessed, though, that may not be well known, was her ability to impersonate.
Ephraim Hardcastle, a royal researcher and commentator, claims that the Queen frequently impersonated Melania and Donald Trump. She “took a fondness” for mimicking Melania in her later years. Melania’s mimicry supposedly involved Queen Elizabeth repeating a five-word phrase while wearing a bored expression.
After hosting Donald Trump three times in 18 months, the late Queen Elizabeth developed a skill for mimicking the US president. It’s less well known, though, that the king also had an opinion about Melania, his little discussed wife.

According to a person who was there when she was requested to render the First Lady, HM would get quiet, pretend to be bored, and then whisper, “I want to be alone,” in the style of Marlene Dietrich. According to Express, Hardcastle stated, “It appears the Queen felt sorry for the most recent Mrs. Trump.”
The date of Donald and Melania Trump’s upcoming trip to the UK is unknown, but it will surely involve a stop to Buckingham Palace to meet with the Royal Family. In fact, Prince William, a member of the monarchy, just met Donald.
