Man, after that messy and very public breakup, it looks like Kevin Costner is back in the game. The Hollywood legend seems to have found a new spark with the ex-wife of a billionaire, and insiders are saying she’s totally his vibe.
Just a few months before dropping the bomb about his split from Christine Baumgartner, the handbag designer he tied the knot with back in 2004, Costner was all lovey-dovey in an interview. He told People in November 2022 how much she meant to him: “My wife does these little things that just… it makes everything better. The house feels prettier, warmer because of her. Then, bam—May 2023 rolls around, and Baumgartner, mom to their three kids, files for divorce over “irreconcilable differences.” What followed was a nasty fight in court over money and who gets the kids, wrapping up in February 2024. Costner ended up having to shell out $63,209 a month in child support—way less than the $248,000 she first asked for, according to Fox News. They settled on joint custody for their teens: Cayden (18), Hayes (16), and Grace (15).

Costner opened up on CBS Mornings about how rough it was, calling it “a crushing moment” that really stung. “It’s powerful. It hurt,” he said. But he pushed through: “I have no choice—my kids are watching. I can’t just wilt like a daisy. I’ve got to keep moving forward, be myself, and keep an eye on them.”
Bouncing Back with a New Flame
Fast forward, and sources are buzzing that Costner’s got a thing going with Kelly Noonan Gores, a 46-year-old filmmaker who’s the former wife of 72-year-old billionaire Alec Gores. He’s been playing it low-key, but pics from the JAS Labor Day Experience in Aspen show him cozying up with this stunning blonde, and it seems like things are heating up.
One insider spilled to RadarOnline.com: “Kevin’s dating again and actually happy after that super dark chapter. He’s been seeing Kelly, keeping it under wraps because he doesn’t want any drama.” They say he calls her “chill” and perfect for him post-divorce.
“She’s spot-on his type—they both love the outdoors, sports (she’s into surfing), long dog walks,” the source added. “Plus, she’s got young kids, and he adores that. Thinks it’s adorable.”
