John Travolta shares a memorial in honor of his late wife Kelly Preston

In 2020, Kelly Preston passed away from breast cancer. Kelly Preston is an American actress and model who has appeared in over 60 films.

She got married to John Travolta in 1991 and the duo stayed together until her tragic death. This seems to be one of the toughest moments for John and thankfully he’s still doing so great as a father.

Kelly Preston could have turned 59 on October, 13 this year and even in her absence, her family had a great memorial in honor of her. John Travolta alongside a picture of him and Kelly wrote a long heartfelt tribute for his late wife.

Travolta became one of the biggest actors in the industry alongside his wife and that’s how they were able to evolve into a power couple. They seem to be perfect in all ramifications, a successful career, and a happy home.

Kelly was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 13, 1962. She started a career in acting after graduating from the University of Southern California.

Kelly’s career has been so successful that she got a role in Mischief, Twins, Jerry Maguire, and For Love of the Game, and also Gotti which was her last movie before her death.

Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer and died in July 2021 at the age of 57.

On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife, and mother, passed away following a two-year battle with breast cancer,” a family representative told People at the time.

“Choosing to keep her fight private, she had been undergoing medical treatment for some time, supported by her closest family and friends,” the family representative added.

John Travolta wrote on Instagram: “My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.”

“I just wanted to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in such an incredible way this year,” Travolta said.

Over the months, friends and family have tried to get Travolta back into the dating scene, but it seems like he might never get over the loss of his dear wife.

This could have been Kelly’s 59th birthday and Travolta never forget to drop his tribute message and her special day.

Travolta on his Instagram page, Travolta shared a picture of Kelly, writing: “Happy Birthday Kelly. We miss and love you very much”.
