According to an analyst, King Charles “won’t hand the throne to William
It took King Charles more than fifty years to get to the throne. His mother, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away in 2022, therefore his reign started somewhat recently. Nevertheless, when Prince William succeeds him, many are already discussing the age that will follow. Some have even suggested that it’s already time for William to take the throne, with Charles essentially standing aside to allow for a change of kings due of his severe health problems—he was diagnosed with cancer last year.
An interesting concept, perhaps, but according to one analyst, such a change would never occur because William “can forget” receiving the throne from his father. When Queen Elizabeth II, the British queen with the longest reign, died in 2022, people were still stunned for some reason.

Prince Charles was training from infancy to succeed the late queen, who ruled for more than 70 years. He was undoubtedly prepared to ascend to the throne when he did, but his cancer diagnosis delivered a serious blow to his reign’s beginning.
Although he is in a good mood, Charles’ health problems have increased the possibility that he may abdicate his throne, which he held at the age of 73. In addition to letting Charles concentrate solely on rest and strength recovery, some contend that it would be better for the UK.
However, who could blame Charles for not wishing to resign from a position he had worked for more than 70 years to achieve? The monarch “came to terms” with the notion that his reign will be brief years ago, according to a royal insider who spoke to Woman’s Day in December of last year.
According to the source, King Charles is aware in private that his health problems limit him and is debating whether or not it would be honorable to abdicate. “He’s much weaker and tires easily, and doctors are begging him to slow down,” the source said.
“It’s evident that some of Charles’ royal priorities have had to be neglected, but he will have been informed of the worst and best-case scenarios regarding his health.”
According to a number of royal analysts, Prince William has covertly taken on additional responsibilities to help his father out behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace. It is debatable if anyone can honestly say that they are prepared to rule as king, but we do know that William has been getting ready all of his life.
In theory, the Prince of Wales would probably ascend to the throne with grace if he were to do so tomorrow. Curiously, though, some royal analysts now assert that William won’t ascend to the throne anytime soon since King Charles has no intention of ceding the crown.
Hilary Fordwich, a royal specialist, told Fox News that William plans to assist Charles in reducing his workload as much as possible while the king undergoes cancer treatments. There have been plans for additional task transfers, and Prince William has been taking on more duties.
With an expedited timeline for their future roles as king and queen, Prince William and Princess Catherine have been preparing to take on leadership roles. However, they are definitely not actively pursuing an instant ascent,” Fordwich told Fox.
