After Billy Ray Cyrus’ performance at Liberty Ball, his adopted son advises him to “get help.

Billy Ray Cyrus, Trace Cyrus’ adoptive father, has received public outreach from Trace Cyrus urging him to get the assistance he requires. This happened when Billy Ray’s family became alarmed by his performance at the Liberty Ball.

On January 20, the 63-year-old musician, who is well-known for his popular song “Achy Breaky Heart,” performed at the Liberty Ball. Unfortunately, his performance received unfavourable reviews.

A few days later, on January 22, Trace Cyrus shared an old picture of the two of them performing on stage on Instagram to show his concerns for his father’s health. “I’ve always admired you and thought you were the coolest since I can remember,” Trace said. He recalled, “The happiest day of my life was being adopted by Billy Ray.”

Trace thinks the world has worn him down, though, and now finds his father “barely recognisable.”

“Even if you’re angry with me for making this public, I don’t mind anymore,” he continued. For years, my sisters and I in particular have been worried about you, yet you have turned your back on us. Trace mentioned his sister, Brandi, and his half-sisters, Noah and Miley, who are all close to Billy Ray. Miley even found success on “Hannah Montana” with him.

After Billy Ray married Trish Cyrus, he adopted Trace and Brandi, bringing the siblings together. Miley, Noah, and Braison were among the couple’s own children. The family continued to worry for Billy Ray when they got divorced in 2022.

“Noah’s been wanting you to be part of her life, but you’ve not been there,” Trace said, highlighting Noah’s desire for a closer bond with their father. She is worthy of your care and attention.

Trace makes it apparent in his sincere plea that his message is motivated by love and a fear of losing his father. Trace is willing to offer assistance if given the opportunity, even though he is unaware of the precise difficulties Billy Ray is dealing with.

“I want you to know that, as always, I am here for you,” Trace said as she wrote these words while crying. “Even without specifics, I have a sense of the difficulties you encounter and would like to help if you are willing.” Trace said he would keep praying for his father till then.

Billy Ray’s performance at the event was particularly difficult in the midst of all of this. Concern was raised when he appeared to be lacking in enthusiasm and experienced technological issues.

Billy Ray’s experience at the Liberty Ball, which was a part of President Donald Trump’s inaugural festivities, didn’t go as expected. He said, “In life, you continue on despite technical difficulties, or as President Trump might say, ‘You fight,'” in response to the problems during the performance.

In a later public statement, Billy Ray praised his performance and acknowledged the honour of playing in spite of technical malfunctions.

“This was the most fun I had at the Liberty Ball!” the country musician wrote as he posted a video of the performance to his Instagram. To experience it, you had to be present. Billy Ray ended his letter by mentioning his iconic song, “I just don’t think you understand,” which is a reference to “Achy Breaky Heart.”
