The legendary comic queen Carol Burnett turned ninety-one in April! Burnett is still going strong after decades of making us laugh. Last year, NBC honoured her extraordinary career with a special tribute called Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter and Love.

Several of the top personalities in Hollywood came to honour Burnett by screaming her praises on the red carpet.

The trailblazing variety/sketch show The Carol Burnett Show, which ran on CBS for 11 seasons, is the reason Carol Burnett is most known. Since she was the first woman to host a show of that kind, Burnett is recognised as a pioneer for female comedians.

She recently received numerous lifetime achievement awards, such as the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour. She was the inaugural winner of the “Carol Burnett Award,” the television lifetime achievement honour bestowed by the Golden Globes in 2019.

She made a significant comeback to television last year, appearing as a guest performer in the last season of Better Call Saul.

Ahead of her 90th birthday, Burnett remarked in an interview that she doesn’t feel her age and refers to herself as a “late bloomer” in the entertainment industry. “I find it difficult to comprehend,” Burnett said to People Magazine.

“I’m amazed, but I still feel like I’m about eleven.” It passed by quickly. That being said, I’m content since I have all of my body parts: my hips, knees, and head. On Friday, April 26, Carol Burnett celebrated her 91st birthday, and the television icon was still in demand.

A few days prior, during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she nearly fulfilled her playful birthday wish involving Maestro star Bradley Cooper. She had also recently celebrated her role in the new miniseries Palm Royale and appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
