For American pickers star Frank Friz, dark clouds gather
Unexpected turns can frequently be found in life, and for television personality Frank Fritz, it was no exception. He was battling personal issues behind the scenes.
Diann Bankson, his lifelong partner, was very important to him. Due to the strain of his arduous divorce, Frank suffered from drinking, lost his career, and experienced health problems. The time they shared together had a lasting effect on both of them, even though they have since split ways.
When Frank Fritz, the host of “American Pickers,” was barely twenty-five years old, he met Diann Bankson. They experienced ups and downs in their relationship before deciding to pop the question in 2017.
When Frank Fritz, the host of “American Pickers,” was barely twenty-five years old, he met Diann Bankson. They experienced ups and downs in their relationship before deciding to pop the question in 2017. Together, they made a significant move the next year when they bought an Iowa farmhouse and moved in together.
In November of that year, their relationship took a bad turn when Bankson said she had seen Fritz having sex with another woman.
Fritz revealed in a talk that he felt deceived by Bankson and that he had gone so far as to get a tattoo as a reminder of the hurt. He yet desired to wed her in spite of everything. After spending a lot of money on a house and a fancy ring, he found out that she had been seeing someone else for the previous 2.5 years.
Fritz underlined, “I got a tattoo that says, ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater,’ as a reminder not to make the same mistake again because she is the one who cheated.” He continued by saying that Bankson’s activities had cost a substantial amount of money.
Fritz said that turning to booze was his go-to method for handling his sadness. Sadly, it had a negative impact on his health and made him lose a substantial amount of weight. “I tried my hardest,” Fritz said. “I attempted to drench her in alcohol.”
Fritz made the difficult decision to stop dating in order to concentrate on beating his drinking issue after his unpleasant encounter with Bankson.

After the divorce, Fritz experienced difficulties at work. He would reportedly stop hosting “American Pickers” on the History Channel in March 2020.
Notable events include the death of both of Christopher Reeve’s parents by the time he was 13 years old, and the paralysis of a 7-year-old child at Loretta Lynn’s campsite due to an unintentional fall by a teenager from a height of 30 feet. Another update is that Tim Curry, now 76, is still pursuing his acting career and that his family decided to keep the news of his stroke quiet.
Fritz said he was absent because of health problems following back surgery, but he was excited to be back on the show as soon as he recovered. Now that he was in better shape, he was eager to get back on the programme.
Fritz added that a showrunner had told him they would invite him back, even though he insisted no decision had been made regarding it.
Fritz has been involved with the show for ten years, but according to TMZ, there are no firm plans for him to return as a presenter.
Amidst all of this, Bankson, Fritz’s former partner, presented her new partner, Eric Longlett, an engineering administration manager. In a social media message, she expressed her respect for him and how fortunate she felt.
She added, “He took me to see Elton John’s Yellow Brick Road Farewell Tour,” with a picture of the two of them from the performance. “I’m one lucky gal. You are my darling, oxo.
Fritz had a stroke on July 4, 2022, and the hospital admitted him. He was discovered on his home floor by a friend, who then dialled for assistance. According to The US Sun, during the 911 call, his companion expressed confusion about the condition, adding, “I’m not sure, but he might be having a seizure.”
Reporters were reassured by Fritz’s father, Bill Fritz, that his son was making progress every day and was headed towards recovery.
Fritz did not make the kind of development that was anticipated, despite early hopes for a simple rehabilitative.
