We have a granddaughter who also has Down Syndrome and we support Emma’s parents (as do her paternal grandparents.) I am thrilled to see Alba also has a big family of Uncles, grandparents and friends who show her love. Emma has has speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy since birth. She just turned 4 in July and is now talking some our loud. Emma “signs” and is not behind others her age on the learning curve and i think it is because of the efforts of her parents and other family. We are big into inclusion. Tomorrow 9/21/2019 we will support all children with down syndrome. Our city sponsors the Buddy Walk — to get out information on Down Syndrome. We live in Vancouver Washington and 8 minutes from our city center across the Columbia River is Portland, Oregon. Both cities are in this together. Do you have this in Italy?
