Hillary Clinton uses three harsh words to mock Trump

With just three words, Hillary Clinton was able to take aim at one of Donald Trump’s greatest weaknesses. The size of the audiences at Donald Trump’s rallies, inaugurations, and public events has long been a source of obsession for him. During his speech at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, former President Barack Obama couldn’t help but make light of Trump’s obsession with crowd sizes, implying that it’s essentially a “penis measuring contest” in his mind.

Trump’s eagerly awaited military parade to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. military—and possibly his birthday—finally happened this past weekend. However, the numbers of people there spoke for themselves.

While Trump’s staff claims that about 250,000 people attended his military parade, analysts estimate that over 4 million people attended the “No Kings” rallies that day across the country.

Hillary Clinton was compelled to address the striking disparity. She posted side-by-side images of Trump’s procession and the statewide protests on Instagram, which has now gone viral. The post’s straightforward description asked her followers to “compare and contrast scenes from yesterday in America.” “On the one hand, Trump’s lackluster Dear Leader parade (that cost you $45 million),” she tweeted. In contrast, millions of people nationwide are peacefully assembling to declare, “Here, we have no kings.”

With many Instagram commentators imitating the protest shout with clapping and raised hands emojis, the term “No Kings” swiftly gained popularity online. Clinton’s well-timed shade earned her kudos from fans. “I love you so much for doing this, Hillary!!!” said one commenter.

Another person said, “The shade of it all!” Clinton encapsulated the scene and brought attention to a stark difference in just three words, and the internet was captivated. It immediately became popular among her fans, of course, but it also caused a lot of negative reaction online.

She was criticized, especially by conservatives, for displaying “utter contempt” for the U.S. military and for spending the weekend in the Hamptons at a wedding while making fun of Trump’s parade with a military theme. A few votes separated this witch from the position of commander in chief. She views our troops in this way. @BuzzPatterson was correct, man. In reaction to Hillary’s widely shared tweet on X, conservative commentator Benny Johnson commented, “Hillary hates the troops.”

The associate director of Florida’s Voice also posted on X, echoing the statement that Hillary Clinton despises the troops. Not holding harsh either, another critic wrote: “Utter contempt for the 250th birthday of the @USArmy.” Buzz Patterson, a retired Air Force Lt. Col. who has previously criticized Clinton, added, “And, we don’t have queens either.” You will never be the duly elected president that we have.

Clinton’s post obviously touched a chord, even though it may have made her base laugh. Trump supporters claim that Clinton’s statement was trivial, while others saw it as a long-awaited mic drop moment. But can the essence of a president be revealed in a three-word caption? There is little doubt that the conflict between these titans of politics is far from ended.
