JD Vance was called “tasteless” for a remark he made about his wife

Indeed, JD Vance has led an interesting life. The now-Vice President of the United States was reared by his grandparents after a very difficult childhood with a drug-addicted mother. Vance joined the army to change his life, even though it appeared like he was going in the wrong direction. He later met Usha, the love of his life, at Yale.

Since their college reunion, JD Vance and Usha have remained together. They have three children together and are now husband and wife. Despite the fact that they appear to be a happy couple, a video that Vance posted a few days ago infuriated social media users. JD’s remarks regarding his wife have been called conceited, rude, and even insensitive.

Vance had a different upbringing than most people might have thought. He and his half-sister, Lindsay Vance, were raised in a home where their mother was a drug addict. He was born in Middleton, Ohio. Vance’s father and mother separated when he was a little boy, and the former began acting violently as the years passed.

As a child, Vance had a lot of tragic days. He discussed some of the situations in his 2016 memoir, Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis, in an interview with National Public Radio. Later, Ron Howard turned it into a movie called Hillbilly Elegy, which starred Glenn Close and Amy Adams.

Vance recounted the horrifying incident in which his mother threatened to kill both her son and daughter by crashing their automobile in the NPR interview. I hid from her by jumping into the rear seat. And she became really irate over this. I believe she was about to hit me when she pulled over and stopped the car. So I ran,” Vance remarked.

“I’m one of those guys who really benefits from having sort of a powerful female voice over his left shoulder saying, ‘Don’t do that … do that,'” he stated in another interview that same year. As the current Second Lady of the United States, Usha Vance is frequently spotted in public alongside her spouse.

However, because of what JD Vance done to her, social media people were incensed just days ago. Speaking at an event in Michigan, Vance said he was delighted to have his wife by his side and commended her for a job well done. But he implied that when they are on camera, she has no choice but to giggle at everything he says.

The problem is this. Usha was shown grinning and laughing as JD stated, “The cameras are all on; anything I say, no matter how crazy, she has to smile, laugh, and celebrate it.” Social media users swiftly vented their ire at JD when the video was shared on X. “JD Vance made a rude and domineering remark about his wife.

His disrespect for his marriage on a public platform is just another instance of his conceit. According to MSN, one user remarked, “His history of polarizing comments demonstrates that he is unsuited for leadership.”

That seems like a danger. To secure her and the kids’ long-term safety and security, she ought to speak with an attorney. I am aware of how a marriage develops over time. A second wrote, “The threats become real.” “Why is she standing like that when he’s saying that nonsense?” a third social media user remarked. Are they abusing her? What man would say such things about his wife? Whoa. We’ll come help you, girl, if you blink three times quickly.”

“I know it’s supposed to be a joke, but.. poor taste,” said a fourth individual. Vance’s “attempt at humor is always tasteless,” according to one, and Usha appeared “miserable.” Another noted that Vance was “kind of shouting himself in the foot, now people will think her reactions as well as those of others around him are fake.” How do you feel about Vance’s remark regarding his wife?
