Joe Biden may be suffering from vascular dementia, according to a double board certified neurologist
In response to multiple media reports that suggested US President Joe Biden may have Parkinson’s disease, a well-known neurologist who holds double board certification raised the possibility that the President may be suffering from “vascular dementia.” He stressed the significance of Biden undergoing neurological testing and an MRI to either confirm or rule out vascular dementia concerns.
This expert noted that the President may have developed this illness as a result of his medical history. He brushed this off as a plausible diagnosis after assessing Biden in conjunction with Parkinson’s disease symptoms.

In an interview, Dr. Russell Surasky provided his professional perspective and discussed his thoughts on the President’s health, pointing out the spate of reports expressing concern over Biden’s “cognitive decline.”
While expressing sympathy for the President, Dr. Russell criticised his staff for ostensibly hiding a serious health problem that might not be Parkinson’s. In February, he said, the President’s personal physician performed a comprehensive medical evaluation and ruled out Parkinson’s disease.
At the moment, Biden’s behaviour shows no overt signs of Parkinson’s disease. In contrast to the shuffling style that is characteristic of Parkinson’s disease, Dr. Russell mentioned watching videos of Biden walking steadily. Additionally, Biden doesn’t exhibit the unilateral resting tremor or the distinctive cogwheel rigidity associated with the condition.
Dr. Russell invited President Biden to undergo a neurological evaluation, which would include several hours of comprehensive medical examination covering a range of topics, such as motor skills and memory recall abilities. An MRI scan is a valuable diagnostic tool for vascular dementia.
Assessing Biden’s risk of vascular dementia: The President has a history of atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat that can limit blood flow to the brain, as well as two brain aneurysms, which can cause a blood vessel in the brain to burst and bleed.
