Kid Rock lashes out and leaves the stage
At Jon Bon Jovi’s pub in Nashville, Kid Rock had his most recent outburst when he walked off stage in the middle of his performance, upset at what he saw as a lacklustre reception from the crowd.
On Saturday, February 8, the 54-year-old American Bad Ass singer surprised everyone by showing up at JBJ’s Nashville to honour the birthday of Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan. But Rock lost his temper, snapped, and quickly halted his concert when the audience didn’t applaud to his liking.

Video shows how the Cowboy singer was greeted with cheers when he first joined David Bryan, who is most known for being Bon Jovi’s keyboardist. On February 7, he celebrated his 63rd birthday and performed the 1969 classic Proud Mary by Creedence Clearwater Revival. But Rock abruptly ended the performance two minutes into the set, telling the band to abruptly stop performing.
Then, before launching into insults, he made fun of the crowd, telling them to clap along and even showing them how.
“F-k them. Fuck them. Rock said, “Hey, hey, stop.” We won’t be singing if you don’t clap. That’s how it will proceed.
Following his example, the crowd started applauding, but a minute later the singer interrupted the show once more and swore at a bargoer. “F–k you all, you know what. Kid Rock shouted, “You’re not going to clap, I’m leaving.”
As Rock rushed offstage, Bryan raised his hand in disbelief, seemingly bewildered by his outburst, and began talking to another artist. The birthday celebrant did not include the incident in his social media summary of the evening, despite the hectic occasion. Rock, however, has said nothing about it.
