Leslie Jordan, a star of “Will & Grace,” died in an automobile accident at age 67

Leslie Jordan, who was well-known for his performances on the TV shows Will & Grace and American Horror Story as well as his popular social media videos, has tragically passed away at the age of 67 after being involved in a car accident.

The actor allegedly had a medical issue this morning while driving in Hollywood and drove his BMW into a structure, according to TMZ.

According to Leslie Jordan’s agent David Shaul, “the world is undoubtedly a lot darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan.”

“He made up for his short stature with kindness and greatness as a son, brother, artist, comic, companion, and human being. The only comfort one can have right now is the knowledge that he left this planet at the pinnacle of both his professional and personal lives.

Jordan, a unique performer who was 4’11” and openly gay, contributed his comedic skills to numerous shows over his lengthy career.

His most well-known performance was as Karen’s sexually ambiguous frenemy in a recurring role on the popular sitcom Will & Grace (Megan Mullally.) Jordan’s performance earned him an Emmy in 2006.

Jordan also portrayed a number of characters in the American Horror Story series. Most recently, he appeared alongside Mayim Bialik in the series Call Me Kat.

In the 2000 movies Sordid Lives and the Oscar-winning The Help, he played noteworthy roles.

However, Jordan is also well-known to a large number of people thanks to his social media activity. In 2020, his Instagram skits, jokes, and stories helped him become a huge viral star.

He attracted more than 5.6 million followers on Instagram.

David Shaul remarked of the man, “Not only was he a great talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional refuge to the country at one of its most trying moments.

Many of the actor’s admirers and coworkers expressed their sorrow and condolences on social media following the actor’s passing:
