Man adopts too homeless Pitbull and they repaid him by saving him from an assault

Dogs will always be man’s best friend and they have proven that over the years. People have different animals as pets.

Some get theirs from shelter homes but I think it’s always better to give a new life to those abandoned and lonely animals on the street.

These animals have feelings, they recognize good deeds more than humans most times, it’s safe to say animals are more human.

When I found this stray dog close to my home, I never knew it was going to change my life forever.

He was very aggressive at first, because of maybe all he has been through, but when he came around he became the best friend I never had.

It’s always as he reads my mood, knows when to play, and knows when to be the big guy. Robert McGowan found two Pitbull in a local shelter.

According to The Dodo, the dogs had had a rough life and were abandoned. Pitbulls are the most common breed of dogs found in shelter homes as they are known to be aggressive which scares people away.

Robert cared the least about their reputation, welcomed them into his home, and named them Ellabelle and Ladybug.

He loved them and adopted them and the Pitbulls were lovely and submissive. Robert was in his garage one faithful night when four strangers attacked him.

They were so keen on stealing his car and gave him a black eye. They asked for the car keys and Robert said it was inside the house.

They never knew what was inside and on opening the door, the two Pitbulls ran out barking and chasing the robbers away. “They chased them out,” Robert told The Dodo. “My girls ran into the garage and stood over me.”

“They stood there barking, making it clear that no one was going to hurt me anymore. The four people took off.”

According to Roberts, the Dogs have never been aggressive despite what’s known about them, they have always been docile. This story shows how royal and lovely dogs can be when loved and cared for.

Who knows what could have happened to Robert, if he didn’t consider adopting them. “They are rescues. Unwanted dogs,” he wrote. “They saved my life. Please consider adopting a rescue. They might save your life too.”

He hopes that everyone reading this will consider adopting.
