His father’s Alzheimer’s disease “accelerated, and it’s causing problems with his entire body,” he added, adding that he simply isn’t doing well. He’s having a lot of trouble.

A&E’s Duck Dynasty chronicled the Robertson family as they worked together at their family business, Duck Commander, including Phil and Kay Robertson, their three sons, Jase, Willie, and Jep, as well as a number of their grandchildren and staff.

Despite giving rise to several spinoffs, such as Going Si-Ral, Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty, At Home with the Robertsons, and Duck Family Treasure, the series concluded in 2017 after 11 seasons. In January, A&E declared that Duck Dynasty: The Revival will be the show’s comeback to the network.

Since the conclusion of the well-liked show, the Robertson family has expanded as several of the younger cast members have begun families of their own.

The hunting company Duck Commander was founded and run by Phil, a native of Louisiana, who began the family business in 1972 with a duck call that is now patented. When Kay fell pregnant with their first son at the age of 17, he married her. A&E is anticipated to debut Duck Dynasty: The Revival this summer.
