Queen Camilla’s true concern that King Charles would invite Harry and Meghan to Balmoral this summer was made public
There is a lot on King Charles and Queen Camilla’s agenda. Instead of the royal family taking a summer vacation, the summer months are filled with several customs. Other members of the royal family could take Kate Middleton’s place now that she is not there. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, two of them, will not be present at any royal functions this summer.
The royal family’s relationship with the split couple is at an all-time low. According to reports, King Charles tried everything to heal his son’s relationship, but his efforts were met with hostility.
The royal family is scheduled to spend time together at Balmoral during their few weeks off this summer, like they do every summer. This year is the first time the Scottish castle—where Queen Elizabeth II passed away in 2022—will be exposed to the public.
According to recent rumours, King Charles has invited his son, daughter-in-law, and their two kids to Balmoral in an apparent final attempt to bring them all together. Queen Camilla, on the other hand, is said to be against it because she worries that the Sussexes would pay her a visit.
For years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have caused discord among the royal family. They are alone on the other side of the pond because to the numerous charges and disclosures of Prince William, Kate Middleton, King Charles, and Queen Camilla. Even while none of the royal family—aside from King Charles—seem interested in interacting with them, there are rumours that it might work the other way around.
Tom Quinn, a royal specialist, claims that Queen Camilla is terrified that her husband may invite her, and she does not like the idea of them coming.
The Mirror was informed by Quinn that “King Charles will extend the customary invitation to Harry and Meghan to spend a portion of the summer at Balmoral, but safe in the knowledge that Harry and Meghan will make their excuses and decline.” “While unwinding on the 50,000-acre private estate may be the ideal setting to put the past behind you, Camilla will be watching out for anything that jeopardises the peace of mind her husband needs to continue his cancer recovery.”
Quinn stated that although Harry expressed a deep concern for Kate, he knows that he cannot see Kate without seeing his brother, so the invitation will not be accepted.
The Sussexes, on the other hand, have declined because they have not received an apology for the treatment they endured while still part of the royal family. Do you believe Meghan and Harry will apologise to the royal family? Post this article on Facebook and let us know what you think.
