Riley Strain’s cause of death was revealed three months after disappearance

TMZ received an autopsy report that confirmed Riley Strain’s cause of death. According to the investigation, the 22-year-old college student died of drowning and ethanol consumption.

Strain, a senior at the University of Missouri, made news in early March when he went missing while visiting downtown Nashville with his fraternity mates. Strain was asked to leave Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink on the night of his disappearance.

Although the people he was with did not see him again after he left the bar, security cameras, including a police officer’s body camera, captured him numerous times before he vanished.

The next day, one of Strain’s pals called the police to report him missing. Authorities began hunting for the missing college student, but it wasn’t until March 22, two weeks after Strain’s last sighting, that they received word of a body in the Cumberland River.

According to the reports issued by Tennessee’s Chief Medical Examiner, Strain had Delta 9 in his system and a blood alcohol level of.228. The autopsy revealed that there were no substantial symptoms of trauma. I remember when I first heard about Riley Strain, I was hoping he’d be found alive.
