The woman delivers seven years after she was told she was never going to get pregnant
Trevion and Joanie Clemons were high school sweethearts who ended up getting married.
After having their youngest daughter, Joanie was diagnosed with a condition that was going to prevent her from getting pregnant.
The couple didn’t want to lose hope as they wanted to expand their family, seven years later, the story was different.
Trevion and Joanie Clemons already had four beautiful daughters aged, 21, 18, 11, and 9 years old.
The couple couldn’t expand their family any longer because Joanie was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Joanie and Trevino decided to take care of the four blessings in their life and give up on their quest for a large family.
Joanie decided to go for a check as she felt a big lump in her breast, but was surprised when it turned out to be milk glands.
Joani told WSBTV, “I went in because breast cancer runs in our family and I had a lump in my breast, that’s when [the doctor] told me that was a milk gland.”
She was pregnant.
The couple was surprised and thought they were expecting a child, but they were in for a shocker.
The ultrasound disclosed they were going to have triplets.
They were chances that the baby might survive were there and the safety of Joanie wasn’t certain either.
The three were born prematurely but they all survived.
Trevion said back in 2016, “I was smiling ear to ear. I was happy, I just want all of them to be healthy.”
Devon, Bryce, and Miles weighed under 3 pounds and had to stay in the intensive unit for three weeks.
The joy of the family knew no bounds as they have three more people added to them.
Their plans came to pass after all. A recent picture of them shows the triplets are now gentlemen and looking more dashing than ever.
We wish them all the best and hope that happiness never departs from their home.
