When Shiloh Jolie-Pitt becomes eighteen, she applies to have the last name “Pitt” removed

Formerly the two sides of one of the most well-known marriages in history, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship has deteriorated to the point of unquestionable hostility.

The celebrities, who were previously collectively branded “Brangelina” by the media, have been embroiled in court disputes and media-fueled arguments since their 2019 divorce. Recently, a number of charges have been made against them.

The former couple is still at war over the sale of a French winery they bought together, and as recently as April of this year, Jolie filed papers in the Los Angeles Superior Court claiming Pitt of physical abuse, a claim he has strenuously rejected.

It was reported just a few days ago that Vivienne, one of Angelina and Brad Pitt’s children, had seemingly chosen to omit the “Pitt” from her last name. Now, it has been revealed that Shiloh, Vivienne’s sister, has moved to do the same thing, but in a more formal manner.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turned eighteen earlier this week, and she promptly decided to drop the “Pitt” off her name, according to TMZ. According to the publication, Shiloh requested a legal name change through paperwork, and henceforth, she will go by Shiloh Jolie.

One of the first things she wanted to do as a legal adult was change her name, as evidenced by the fact that the paperwork was submitted on Monday, the day she turned 18. According to TMZ, the name change hasn’t happened yet, but it will happen eventually. Of the six children of Jolie and Pitt, Shiloh is the only one who seems to have a tense relationship with her father, but maybe others too.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, who is fifteen years old, gained notoriety lately when her name appeared on the official Playbill for The Outsiders, a production she co-produced with her mother. She was recorded as Vivienne Jolie, rather than Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.

One of Angelina and Brad’s three adopted children, Zahara, 19, is said to also go by Zahara Jolie these days. Maddox, 22, the eldest brother, does not have the word “Pitt” in his surname, according to TMZ. Shiloh is the only child to yet to have formally moved to have their name changed, but it seems like the general message is quite obvious: all of them are supporting their mother in regards to the ongoing conflict between their parents.

Readers may recall that Son Pax criticised Pitt in a 2020 Instagram post that was just rediscovered. Pax apparently posted on his private Instagram account, “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell.”

“You can tell the world and yourself anything you want, but eventually the truth will surface.” “Happy Father’s Day, you f*g awful human being,” he concluded.
