Like any normal relationship, Prince William and Kate Middleton have their ups and downs. When the couple supposedly separated up in 2007 for a variety of reasons, the two went their separate ways for a spell, with Kate reportedly being devastated by William’s behaviour. But in the end, they made up and carried on as a couple.

Twelve years after their charming Westminster Abbey wedding, William and Kate now have a lovely family of three children.

Even though many people think there won’t be anything wrong with the future king and queen, there are always difficulties in marriage.

A royal specialist claims that the Prince and Princess of Wales have experienced marital difficulties. As things stand, they’re not that perfect.

William and Kate exchanged vows in Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011. But in 2007, it appeared as though their love tale had come to an end. In other instances, it was even claimed that William and Kate were no longer together.

When William and Kate divorced in 2007, rumours about the circumstances rapidly spread.

The author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family told Fox that Prince William and Kate Middleton are like any other couple and that they inevitably have days when they are “really, really cross with each other,” as well as days when they don’t even talk to each other.

The Prince and Princess of Wales want to be perceived as an everyday couple, and they experience the same things as other parents do, including having to work and deal with the stress of raising children.

Tom Quinn contends that while appearing to have everything under control, they, like other happy spouses, have their differences. They are however skilled at finding middle ground and navigating daily life.

“I’ve talked to some folks, and it’s not as calm. It’s not quite as flawless as it seems, Quinn told Express. Kate is quite good at not complaining and accepting, while William takes after his grandmother’s manners and demeanour.

“Both of them have stuck to the thing that made the late Queen such a remarkable monarch,” the royal expert concluded. They hardly ever voice complaints. When they do, it’s always in terms of measurement.

Quinn went on to say that William and Kate had disagreements as well. While some couples “throw heavy vases at each other,” the Prince and Princess of Wales “throw cushions,” as it is “always kept under control.”
