King Charles, who was “mortally wounded,” made a stern demand of Harry before the “peace talks.”
Following the numerous accusations contained in Prince Harry’s book, Spare, their relationship hit rock bottom. Nevertheless, the Duke received an invitation to his father’s coronation in May.
He was not permitted to appear with the other royals on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, though. It demonstrated the clear distinction between what a royal and a non-working royal were permitted to do, and it raised the question of whether this division will ever be healed.
But it appears that Harry and Charles are now attempting to reach a consensus. The royals have been the subject of reports of peace negotiations in recent days, and it seems that Charles and his son want to put the past behind them. Meghan won’t be there,
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lives will be very different from what they are accustomed to if Charles gets his way with his demand.
Since the coronation on May 6, Harry has not seen his father. On the day of the coronation, Charles arrived in London. According to rumours, he would only be visiting the UK for a short time. And it was unquestionably the case.
The King has a few days to spare in London before his delayed official visit to France on September 20 so he can meet with his son there. As we speak, staff are striving to perfect the specifics, the source continues.
Harry and Charles will finally get together after the coronation in May. Additionally, it’s the first in-person encounter between father and son since the January release of Spare.
“The King loves his son very much, but what he has done has killed him. He will always be there for him, but slanging bouts in public are off limits,” the person said. If the conversations proceed, the King will make it abundantly clear that moving ahead, there will be zero tolerance for private family business being discussed in public.
Hopefully, the rift between Harry and Charles will be put to rest for a very long time if they can reach an understanding. According to reports, the two have hardly spoken in the past few months, but the peace talks will probably change that.
Harry will learn of King Charles’s demand, though, before negotiations get going.
An insider with OK! claims that Charles won’t engage in any more public disputes.
“The King loves his son very much, but what he has done has killed him. He will always be there for him, but public slanging bouts are off limits, the insider claimed.
“The King will make it very clear that there will be absolutely no private family business discussed in public going forward” if the negotiations proceed.
Even though Meghan Markle is rumoured to be travelling with Harry to the Invictus Games, OK! claims that it is “highly unlikely” that they will both be present during the peace negotiations.
