Dr. Oz Reveals Why Trump Keeps Getting Health Checkups: ‘He Likes the Results’

Dr. Oz has a pretty straightforward take on why President Trump keeps going back for those health checkups. He says it’s simply because the results keep coming back so good.

During a White House press briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Oz why the president, who is 79, continues getting examined if he’s already in such excellent shape. Oz, who is 65 and serves as the Administrator of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, replied with a smile.

“I think because he likes the results,” he said.

“He does really well. He aces the tests every single day, and I do actually believe that he is curious to make sure everything is going in the right direction. He’s a very meticulous person in so many ways that are often underappreciated.”

Oz added that Trump is the type who wants to stay on top of the details, much like how he reaches out to people at all hours when something is weighing on his mind.

Trump has faced some questions lately about his health after appearing in public with visible bruising or other small marks that drew attention. He has explained the bruises on his hands as coming from taking a bit more aspirin than recommended, saying he likes keeping his blood thin for heart health.

There was also talk about an incident at the 2024 Republican National Convention where a high five from Pam Bondi left a small cut because of her ring.

The president has gone for multiple checkups recently, including one at Walter Reed in late May. He shared that the exam went perfectly and released some of the findings. His doctor noted the bruises were minor and linked to handshakes combined with the aspirin use.

Oz emphasized that Trump is proactive and detail oriented, which helps him stay on track with his well being.
