To my family and friends

We never know how important people are to us till we lose them. We think we have all the time in the world to let them know how special they are to us. We go through life, believing that they will always be around. It is not always so. That is why I am writing this note to my friends and family.

Although I may not always tell you this, I love you very much. I appreciate every single bit of support I receive from you daily. Thank you for always being there for me even when I was not a great person to be around.

Thank you for all the times you put up with my bad habits and helped me grow. I know I do not say it enough, but I love you. You are special to me. You have all contributed to the person I am today.

Even when I wasn’t there for you, you stood by me and helped me through my tough time. Without your encouragement, I would not have taken the steps I took to becoming the person I am today. I would pick you over and over again if I had to live life all over.

Thank you for being a part of my life and my journey. You have taken some real bullet from me. You have weathered some tough times with me and borne some bad habits from me. I remember when I wrote everyone off and went into isolation, you didn’t give up on me.

You rallied around yourselves to keep watch over me. You were taking care of me from a distance. You knew how important it was for me to find myself, but you never left me to my own devices.

That has been one of the most incredible experiences I have had. Till this day, that period has been one of the most defining moments in my life. The knowledge that you could respect my needs and desire while still being supportive gave me the confidence I needed to make the needed changes. Knowing that you were also there if I should need the help gave me the courage to fly. I love you.

I cannot say this enough. I realize that one day we will no longer be here. Life happens, and we lose the people we love. We realize that there will come a time when they will no longer be there. I do not want to wake up one day and realize that I had a lot to say and didn’t get to say them.

That is why I am writing this to you to let you know how special you are to me. I want you to know that I cherish you. I cherish every moment of our lives together, every second. To everyone who has been and who is a part of life, thank you.

I love you for everything you have done and are still doing for me. I will always tell this every day of my life.
