Reba McEntire opens up about her divorce from Narvel Blackstock

The Oklahoma-born queen is one of the best-selling artists, a producer, and an actress. It seemed she has her life together, but it seems like it’s not as we all expected. She has suffered a lot of tragic and devastating losses and we hope she gets over them.

Her 26 years of marriage with Narvel Blackstock ended in 2015. Five years later, the superstar has a lot to say about her ended marriage and why she had to part ways with the love of her life. 

Reba McEntire got her breakthrough in the late 1970s and early 1890s after she produced country music which won the hearts of many. She was the best singer in the Country Music Association for four years in a row and it isn’t surprising that she’s so good at what she does. 

She was a star on the Hollywood walk of fame and the sky was her limit. She had a nice career that was earned her millions, but life wasn’t so easy for her. She had lots of successes as well as tragic losses.

In 2014, Reba lost her father, Clark McEntire and it had so much effect on Reba, it turned her life upside down.

Clark was a three-time World Champion steer roper and was always with her during her childhood as well as throughout her career; he was her guardian angel.

In the year, 1979 when Clark was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of fame, Reba released the song ‘’Daddy.’’

she dedicated ‘’Just Like Them Horses’’ to one of the songs in her 2015 album Love Somebody to her late father. She performed the song at his funeral and it was an emotional moment for everyone.

Reba suffered another loss a few years after her father died. Her mom said goodbye too as she lost the fight against cancer and died at the age of 93.

‘’I probably could have lost my mind if it hadn’t been for God’’ she said.

It wasn’t so long before Reba dealt with another loss. In 2015, Reba’s 16 years marriage to Narvel Blackstock ended and the duo went their separate ways.

It came as a shock to Reba and she wasn’t ready to give an honest explanation of what happened to her marriage.

The divorce was a major challenge to Reba owing to the fact she has to start doing things by herself.
