Young woman grabs blind man’s hand not knowing man from stands filming her

The best people always do who can render services not because of what they might get at the end of the day, but because of their integrity.

A young woman was seen helping a blind person cross the road without knowing a camera was capturing the moment.

“Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.” C S Lewis. With so much going on in the world right now, there are still good people out there.

This touching story happened in 2017, it is an act of kindness that can never get overdue. Good people still exist and they should always be appreciated, maybe other people might decide to do well too.

Ryan Hamilton was on her rooftop terrace when she took note of a man that was standing by the road all by himself and no one wanted to help him.

She noticed the crowd walking out from Wrigley Field and that’s when she spotted the man on blue jersey who seemed to be in a difficult situation while everyone passed without helping him.

The blind man was with his stick and was trying to stop a cab, but it seemed like the whole universe took no note of him.

That was when Casey Spelman of Indianapolis spotted the man and decided to give him a hand. “I didn’t think much of it at the time,” Spellman said. “It was after a Cubs game and it was still pretty crowded. I thought, ‘Man, it’s going to take him a while.’”

Casey from her apartment knew help wasn’t coming anytime soon for the poor man and she jumped into action immediately. Ryan saw this immediately and started taking pictures of this heroic deed unknown to Casey.

“Do you want some help getting a cab?” Spelman asked.

“He said, ‘Yeah, you sound pretty, so cabs will probably stop for you before me,’” Spelman recalled Dale joking.

The blind man identified himself as Yusuf Dale and he works in Chicago as an assistant US attorney. The duo got talking and getting to know each other before the cab finally showed up and when Dale was leaving they both shared a hug. 

This is an act of true kindness and humanity.

Many might think of it as not being a big deal after all, but many times have you helped your neighbors or random people who might be in need around you.

The post on social media got plenty of reactions and people can’t stop praising the young lady who proved once again that humanity exists.
