According to a royal specialist, Meghan Markle was not allowed to attend the royal family for Queen Elizabeth’s final moments

The passing of the Queen signals the end of an era. With more than 70 years of monarchy under her belt, she was the longest-reigning monarch in British history. The news of her passing shocked people all around the world.

The monarch has also served as the family’s matriarch for the past 70 years, which is perhaps the most significant fact. While they prepare for the coronation of the new King, they also grieve for their loss.

The world has been shocked by the Queen’s demise. Last night in her Scottish castle, Balmoral, the long-reigning monarch who ruled the United Kingdom and other countries for more than 70 years breathed her last.

Elizabeth II, who was crowned in June 1953, is the only monarch that the majority of Britons have ever known. Elizabeth has lived through seven decades of American history, guiding the country through difficult periods dating all the way back to World War II. Her death certainly marks the end of an era.

The news of her passing was not wholly unexpected; in fact, the public was given some warning. There were reports that the Queen’s health was deteriorating the morning of her death. Doctors stated in a royal statement that they were “concerned” for her health.

It was obvious that the Queen was ready to leave this world when the news of her failing health became public and the majority of the family raced to be by her side.

Funeral arrangements have been carefully made for years, despite not being formally publicised. The Queen’s funeral will undoubtedly be a solemn occasion, fitting for the monarch with the longest reign in modern history.

Charles, her eldest son, would succeed her as king of England after her death, making him the first new monarch in England in more than 70 years.

She was undoubtedly the most well-known woman in the world during her 70-year reign. The Queen’s legacy will endure because of the life she led and the service she rendered to her people.

It is also difficult to emphasise how much history she symbolised in her nearly 100 years of existence: from WWII to Brexit, she served as England’s representative for almost all of the country’s pivotal events of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Meetings were held with 15 different prime ministers, ranging from Liz Truss, who had just been appointed, to Winston Churchill.

After Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle, rumours of family strife abounded. The situation worsened over time, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first stated their intention to leave top royal positions in 2020.

Initially, the couple had wanted to keep their positions, take on less official responsibilities, and move toward financial independence. They planned to “carve out a progressive new role within this institution,” according to the statement they issued.

Buckingham Palace, however, did not receive their announcement well. Officials from the palace soon declared that Harry and Meghan would no longer serve as the queen’s official representatives and would no longer be paid by the public for their royal duties.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex finished up all of their remaining royal responsibilities in March 2020.

They were not precisely successful in achieving their goals of financial independence. The pair was completely open in a well-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry said that his family had entirely cut him off financially. He claimed that in the first quarter of 2020, he did not get any money from his family and was forced to rely on the funds his late mother, Princess Diana, left behind to protect his family.

According to them, the pair had been planning to relinquish their titles for a while. The former royals discussed the toll their time serving as senior royals took on them in their interview with Oprah Winfrey, particularly Meghan.

Meghan Markle revealed to an obviously concerned Oprah that she had even considered suicide at times. She pondered receiving inpatient care for herself, but Buckingham Palace rejected the idea, stating that it “wouldn’t be healthy for the institution.”

The blatant bigotry Meghan had to deal with from the British media and the Royal Family organisation as a whole was another problem for the newlyweds. Meghan and Harry think their son Archie’s denial of a title or security protection was caused by the frequent racist insults.

The couple disclosed that anonymous family members were frightened about the appearance of Harry’s pregnant kid and fretted that the infant would be “dark-skinned.”

The fact that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not shielded by the Royal Palace was another blow to the relationship. Markle claimed that the palace neglected to dispel the misleading narrative and refute these false claims and that the media had made false accusations about her being a “diva” and nasty to royal personnel. In order to protect members of the royal family, she even went so far as to claim that the palace occasionally told lies, but would not divulge the truth in order to protect Meghan and Harry.

Harry also disclosed that the family had made hints that they wouldn’t have enough money to support Meghan Markle as well before being cut off financially. It appears that the Royal Family advised Meghan to keep acting.

Things between Meghan and her in-laws appeared to be becoming worse over time after Prince Harry and Meghan moved their small family to the United States permanently.

Lilibet, the couple’s daughter, was born to Meghan in the US last year. The young child had never met a member of the royal family before. Prior to seeing the young girl and their newest member, the royal family had expressed excitement about the idea.

As the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations drew to a close, Lilibet finally had the opportunity to meet the monarch and the rest of her royal family.

The celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s amazing 70 years on the British throne was held at the beginning of June in London, England.

Trooping of the Color, an event for which the Queen made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, marked the start of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday, June 2. The Queen was unable to attend the following day’s Thanksgiving service due to the difficulty she had experienced the day before. She had to postpone her scheduled appearance at the Epsom Derby on June 4 due to the same reason.

To celebrate her Platinum Jubilee with the millions of people who held celebrations and street lunches in towns and cities all around the UK, the Queen made another public appearance on Sunday, June 5.

The Queen expressed in an open letter written after her Jubilee that she was “humbled and greatly affected” by the events that took place all throughout the UK.

Unbelievably, four generations of royals saw the Trooping of the Colour from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Everyone was there, including Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne’s husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Charles, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and the children of the latter couple. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were surprisingly absent from the scene.

The Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral was among the few occasions the couple reportedly attended while maintaining a low profile. Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance in the UK following their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.

But the couple wasn’t allowed to participate in the Trooping of the Color. Only senior working royals were permitted a seat on the Buckingham Palace balcony to welcome the assembled masses, per the Queen’s request.

The Queen has decided that only Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently performing official public duties on behalf of The Queen will be allowed to stand on the balcony during this year’s Trooping the Colour on June 2, according to a statement released by Buckingham Palace in May.

Instead, The Times claims that Harry and Meghan sat in the Major General’s Office with other members of the Royal Family to observe the Trooping of the Colour. It’s unclear if Lilibet and Archie were accompanying them.

It was evident that nobody wanted the newlyweds to be the centre of attention, least of all the Queen. That has even been put up as the genuine reason the Queen confined the members of the Royal Family who were allowed to stand on the balcony in the manner in which she did.

According to an insider who spoke to People, “They aren’t part of the [working] royal family anymore, and that’s a decision they have taken—but maybe [the public] hasn’t fully embraced it yet.” “Yes, they were understated. After paying their respects, they left for home.

According to reports, the pair did have some alone time with the Queen.

Archie and Lilibet, the couple’s two children, had travelled by plane to the UK; it was the first time Lilibet had ever been to her father’s country. According to accounts, her parents celebrated their daughter’s first birthday with a party on Saturday, June 4.

Kate Middleton was in Windsor picking up her kids from school, so she was unable to accompany Prince William.

The new monarch expressed his deepest sorrow over the passing of his loving mother, Her Majesty the Queen, in a statement.

“We deeply lament the loss of a beloved Mother and beloved Sovereign. I am confident that the nation, the Realms, the Commonwealth, as well as numerous individuals all over the world, will be devastated by her passing. It continued, “My family and I will be comforted and sustained through this time of loss and change by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so universally cherished.
