After losing loved ones, the cast of Tiny People, Big Planet is crushed by tragedy

The Roloff family has endured a number of losses since becoming well-known thanks to the reality series Small People, Big World. Whatever the case, the tragedy brought the family together.

When his father Ronald James Roloff passed away at the age of 84 earlier this year, actor Matt Roloff presented a heartfelt eulogy in his honour.

Matt, 60, paid his late father a moving tribute on Instagram.

“A challenging week for the Roloffs… My father, who was known to his ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren as “papa,” left this world this evening to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior. He said, paying an emotional tribute.

“Ron was a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an example to many people.”

“Everyone who met him could tell he was a people-person! All throughout his life, but especially in his last years, his love for Jesus was evident.

Matt has written about the death of his sibling and the death of his father from chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.

Josh Roloff died in 1999 at the age of 34. Doctors noticed that he had major heart and lung problems as a young boy. Decades after his passing, his family is still carrying on his legacy.

A lovely son, brother, uncle, and friend who was with us for much too little time in this life, Josh is even named in their book Small Family, Big Values. We hope to see you again in the presence of our Jesus one day since we all miss and think about you every day.

The mother of Amy passed away.

While Amy, Matt’s ex-wife, was celebrating her engagement to Chris Marek, her second husband, she tragically lost her mother, Patricia Knight.

“The last two weeks have been an emotional roller coaster,” she stated in 2019. “At once happy and dismal. I was ecstatic when Chris made the proposal to me.

“Very sad because a day after my sister told me that my mother had passed away, my father told me that she was no longer with us. The 24th saw her passing away. I sobbed, my heart ached, and I felt pain. I didn’t know what feelings to expect.

Unless, of course, that was before 2012. Isabel’s brother Tomás Garrenton is unlikely to have ever met Jacob. Tragically, a train accident claimed the life of Tomás. Isabel, Jacob’s wife, has promised to properly enlighten her kid about his uncle.

She stated a year ago, “He’ll know everything about you. I used to laugh anytime I cried because of you. Hence, you created some lovely music before you passed away. Uncle Tomás, my kid, will be well informed about you.

Isabel’s mother had lately passed away as well.

Isabel’s mother, Toni Garreton, passed away two years after her brother.

Sorrow is a fascinating creature, she once remarked on social media. When you’re driving down a road in your hometown that you’ve travelled to numerous times with your mother, the anguish can be so severe that you have to slam on the brakes.

“I believe I caught a whiff of her aroma at the time. Look at her laugh, please. All of this demonstrates my concern for her. She was someone I knew. Because they were mine to retain, all of her memories came back to me. We were uncrackable. And I’ll keep taking the same journey I took with her, missing her every time.
