At a local eatery, Richard Gere celebrates his father’s 100th birthday

Most people are familiar with Richard Gere’s name. The renowned actor has starred in numerous films and is beloved by millions throughout the world.

Richard Gere’s most appealing quality is that he still remembers to commemorate his father’s birthday like any other ordinary person! What a wonderful individual.

On Sunday, Richard Gere’s father, Homer Gere, of North Syracuse, celebrated his 100th birthday in the company of his son and other loved ones.

At a café in Armory Square, the group commemorated the centennial of his birth. Richard Gere, his son, was in the spotlight at the event.

Pastabilities, one of the square’s oldest restaurants, hosted the birthday celebration. Since 1982, the restaurant has been open. The restaurant must have been overjoyed to have a Hollywood actor in their midst since photos of the veteran actor, his father, and restaurant personnel were posted on social media.

They most likely posted after the party ended, around 8 p.m. on Sunday. “Richard Gere stopped in to Pasta’s tonight to celebrate his father’s 100th birthday,” stated the caption.

Richard Gere was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. North Syracuse High School was his alma mater, and he graduated in 1967.
