Cormac Roth, musician and Tim Roth’s adored son, died at age 25

Tim Roth is in grief, as is his family.

At the young age of 25, musician Cormac Roth—son of actor Tim Roth—passed away in “the embrace of his family.”

Although Cormac’s passing was declared on October 31, 2022, the young man actually died around two weeks before.

In July of last year, Cormac disclosed his medical problem for the first time on Instagram. Tim Roth revealed to NBC News that his darling son lost the battle against cancer on October 16, 2022. As stated by Roth:

“On Sunday, October 16th, we lost our lovely boy Cormac after a valiant fight with cancer. His family, who adored and loved him, held him as he passed away quietly. He endured a year of great bravery while fighting, all the while keeping his wicked sense of humour.

Although Cormac first announced his cancer battle in July 2022, he later disclosed that his stage 3 germ cell cancer diagnosis had really been made in November 2021.

The illness, also known as choriocarcinoma, proved difficult to treat, according to Cormac. The information he provided demonstrated how the sickness and its associated therapy had caused him to lose confidence, hearing, and weight.

The teenage singer courageously resisted his cancer in his post by pledging to fight it as hard as he could. He also added that it had not diminished his passion for music-making. The actor’s son said at the end of his term on the job:

“Love to you all; please remember to pursue your passions. Life is brief. It’s a mess.

After Cormac’s passing, his family paid tribute to him by saying how grateful they were for the time they had, however brief, with the young man. They also lamented the fact that he had just recently started to develop into a man. It was said:

“We cherish him. He will travel everywhere with us.
