Donald Trump Lashes Out at Yet Another Female Reporter in a Fiery Six-Word Putdown

Donald Trump has a track record of going after women in the press who rub him the wrong way. Over the past month alone, the President has taken shots at several journalists, and he was at it again on Monday. This time, he blew up at an ABC reporter over what seemed like a straightforward question.

Trump’s never been one to hold back with reporters he doesn’t like. Just a few weeks back, he dubbed Bloomberg’s Catherine LaCey “piggy” during a flight on Air Force One, then followed up by calling her a “terrible reporter” a couple days later. Not long after, he slammed CNN’s Caitlin Collins as “nasty” and “stupid.”

It’s disappointing, but not one journalist pushed back when Trump targeted their colleague. Now, sadly, he’s turned his fire on another woman in the media. It happened during a press interaction where ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott brought up Trump’s earlier comment about having “no problem” releasing footage from a strike on a suspected drug-trafficking boat off Venezuela’s coast back on September 2.

Trump Takes Aim at Another Woman in the Press

Two folks survived the initial strike, but apparently, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered a follow-up that took them out. When Scott asked if Trump would actually release the full video—like he’d hinted at before—the President lost his cool.

“I didn’t say that. You said that, I didn’t say that,” Trump shot back, denying it outright and labeling her “the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place.”

“Let me just tell you, you are an obnoxious—a terrible, actually a terrible reporter. And it’s always the same thing with you. I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do is OK with me,” he added.

Trump kept going, boasting about how the boat got “shot out of the water” and claiming it prevented 25,000 American deaths from drugs and overdoses.

Calling Her “The Most Obnoxious Reporter in the Whole Place”

Rachel Scott didn’t back down and kept pressing him on committing to release the footage.

“Didn’t I just tell you that? You’re the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place,” Trump fired back.

But just last week, he’d said he was fine with putting out the video.

“We’re reviewing that right now,” he mentioned at the Reagan National Defense Forum.
