Following his unexpected greeting with the public, King Charles has all royal admirers saying the same thing

King Charles is busy getting ready for the great day of his coronation on May 6. Even though it won’t be for another couple of months, he can’t just wait around until they put the crown on his head. No, the king is carrying out his royal responsibilities all around the nation with Camilla, the Queen Consort.

King Charles and Camilla paid a visit to Colchester on Wednesday to celebrate the city’s recent approval. Some individuals heckled the King when he first arrived, but many more people gave him a warm welcome.

One such salutation caused royal admirers to raise an eyebrow. Charles surprised some of his royal fans with his greeting despite vowing to uphold many royal traditions and customs. It appears that Charles is trying to bring the monarchy more in line with modern society.

The preparations for the coronation of King Charles and Camilla are well under way. The UK will host its first royal coronation in more than 70 years, and it is expected to be a major event. Although a lot of information about the historic occasion has been made public by Buckingham Palace, several issues still seem to exist.

Charles and Camilla travelled to Colchester to commemorate receiving city status during the Queen’s Golden Jubilee in November of last year.

Not everyone, though, appeared to be happy with their presence. It seemed that others who are not so supportive of the UK having a king and queen were also out in force, continuing the argument over the benefits and drawbacks of monarchy that has been going on for years.

When Charles and Camilla arrived to Colchester Castle’s gardens, a protester yelled, “Why are you wasting our money!” according to Sky.

Charles, do you not believe in democracy? Another query.

“Address your detractors, Charles,” a third cried.

Instead of responding to those who were condemning him, King Charles greeted people who had gathered to welcome him and his wife. He generated a lot of discussion online as a result of being, well, joyful.

The Royal Family’s official Instagram account shared a brief video from King Charles and Camilla’s visit to Colchester. In the footage, Charles could be seen offering a fist bump instead of a handshake as he greeted the throngs of fans who had gathered on the sidewalk.

Several fans responded online to the adorable moment.

One individual said, “Loved how the King fist bumped someone in the crowd.

“The King gives me a fist bump! How wonderful!” gushed a third.

A third said, “He’s such a cool kitty,” while a fourth said, “Such a great visit and celebration! I’m eagerly anticipating the coronation.

Social media has been flooded with images of the King’s hands seeming red and swollen, but he has supposedly had them like way for years. He even made light of them in 2012 when travelling to Australia, calling them his “sausage fingers.”

Charles’ fingers do indeed seem to have been that way for many years. When Prince William was born in the 1980s, Charles allegedly discussed it in a letter to a friend.

“I can’t even begin to express how happy and proud I am. In the Howard Hodgson biography Charles, The Man Who Will Be King, Charles is described as stating, “He truly does seem remarkably tasty and has sausage fingers exactly like mine.
