Losing someone you love is never easy. When we lose someone close to our heart, we experience great sadness, we at times don’t know how we will ever pick up the pieces and move on. Grief takes time, it is a healing process and there is NO limit on the time you take to grieve your loss. It is a process. You will experience a mixture of emotions from denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Each emotion needs to be worked through from within, if we fail to deal with our emotions, we will never heal. You aren’t wrong to feel these emotions and you aren’t wrong to take all the time you need. Don’t allow people to tell you to “get over it” don’t allow people to rush you on the time you spend to heal from your great loss. Allow yourself all the time you need, you’ve lost a significant part of your life. Allow your heart and soul time to recover.
