No one knows why she decided to get surgery when she looked so beautiful with her long dark hair, dazzling dark eyes, and a smile to die for. Her face was everywhere in the advertising industry during the 80s.

She had her first plastic surgery when she was 28 and went on to have many more. She became obsessed.

The boom in plastic surgery in South Korea seemed to have influenced Hang a lot as in the Gangnam district of Seoul, there are 500 aesthetic centers alone and Seoul is often called the global plastic surgery capital.

Her first plastic surgery was in South Korea before she later moved to Japan and continued going through the knife.

The procedures she went through soon started taking a toll on her and she was looking so unrecognizable. When she went home to visit her parents, they couldn’t recognize their once beautiful doctor and had to take her to a hospital. She was put on treatment but had to stop at some times because her parents couldn’t afford it any longer.

Hang went back to doing more cosmetic surgery even when her skin and face were a mess. It was even harder to find a surgeon to work with her as they knew that something was wrong with her.

During her quest for finding surgeons, she met someone who handed her a bottle of black market silicone. The doctor directed her on the use and how to inject herself with the supposed substance and it never actually got better.

Hang was soon running out of cash and she had two children to take care of. Hence she resulted to using cooking oil on her face.

It even left her worse than she already was also she was completely unrecognizable and children often mocked her swollen face.

Hang decided to seek help from other people and was able to raise some money for a correctional surgery. The doctors removed about 60 grams of an unknown substance from her face and 200 grams from her neck.

She underwent about 10 surgeries, but that didn’t correct the damage that was done already, the beautiful face can’t be brought back.

According to Daily Mail, she works at a recycled clothing store today, called The Beautiful Shop.
