Ivanka Trump Refused to Defend Donald Trump Against Antisemitism Accusations, New Book Claims

Ivanka Trump once turned down a request from her father that would have publicly defended him against accusations of antisemitism according to a new book.

The story comes from Michael Wolff’s latest work on the Trump family and campaign. It paints a picture of a daughter who loves her dad but draws some firm lines when it comes to certain public statements.

Ivanka played a big role in her father’s first term in the White House. She worked as an advisor right by his side along with her husband Jared Kushner. Their relationship has always been close but mixing family and politics brought its share of tension over the years.

After stepping away from public life Ivanka made it clear she wanted to focus on raising her children and keeping things private. She said she had no plans to get involved in politics again. Yet the family ties remain strong even if she chooses her moments carefully now.

The latest revelation centers on the period after the October 7 2023 attack by Hamas. Donald Trump apparently struggled to offer full throated support for Israel at times. He turned to Jared and Ivanka who are Jewish hoping they would issue a strong public endorsement.

Instead the couple declined. The campaign then asked for something simpler just a statement saying Trump was not antisemitic. According to Wolff Jared pushed back and said neither he nor Ivanka wanted to put their names on anything like that or get dragged into the middle of it all.

Ivanka has faced plenty of scrutiny during her time in Washington. Old friends distanced themselves some retailers dropped her clothing line and she dealt with constant criticism. Through it all she has tried to protect her family life in Florida and stay out of the spotlight as much as possible.

She still supports her father in her own way but this latest detail from the book shows she is not willing to sign off on every request no matter how much she cares about him. Family bonds can be complicated especially when politics enters the picture.
