Jada Pinkett Smith tells us about her son’s heartbreaking request

One of the most celebrity couples Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have two kids together and we all know how amazing they are in raising their children.

Raising the kids has never been easy for them because of their celebrity status and they know that any action towards their children can be made public and that goes a long way in determining how they are portrayed. 

These circumstances have made Parenthood tough for them and Jada’s mother, Adrienne once spoke against her calling her parenting technique crazy. She said their idea of parenting is unconventional and different from what she’s used to.

The Smiths have faced a lot of difficulties, but not long ago Jada faced one of the biggest challenges she ever faced as a mother.  It was one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life and it came quite as a shock to her.

We all feel like having celebrity parents seems to be very cool and pretty easy as you have the fame and maybe life could be very easy for you, but then again it’s far different from what we all imagine.

Jaden Smith, was never comfortable with fame ever since he was born, he always said that being a celebrity kid kept him far away from normal people and he spent most of his childhood being in the spotlight. The 23 years old wasn’t so happy about the whole incident.

He felt that if the fame wasn’t there he could have lived his life like every normal person, away from the cameras, interviews, and all that comes with celebrity status. 

All the pressure left a significant mark on his soul, but his parents never left him, they always encouraged him.

Will Smith once asserted in an interview that Jaden is 100 percent fearless and will do anything. Even though it’s terrifying to his parents that he doesn’t care about people’s opinions but always does whatever he deems fit.

It was this attitude that led to the traumatic experience Jada Pinkett Smith faced with a question Jaden threw at her. In an episode of the Red table talk, Jada with tears in her eyes recalled the heartbreaking question her son asked her at the age of 15years.

She sat next to her son in the studio and reminded him of when she told her straight up that he wants to leave and be able to live his life as he wanted. He wanted to move out of the family house and explore the world.

Jaden amidst all odds later left his family house in 2017, and even though he now has a life away from his family, he’s still very close to them.
