Kai Trump Opens Up About Uncle Barron, Dating with Secret Service, and Politics in Logan Paul Interview
Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, has been popping up more in the public eye lately. She’s the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, and over the past year or so, she’s spent quite a bit of time hanging out with her grandfather at events.
She even shared some fun behind-the-scenes glimpses last year, like touring Trump Force One on a trip to watch a SpaceX launch in Texas, or joining him at the Ryder Cup. Since then, she’s built up a pretty big following on social media—posting videos of herself hitting balls on the White House lawn, and she recently launched her own clothing line.

She’s a serious golfer too, making her pro debut on the LPGA Tour last year. But even with all this visibility, she hasn’t said much about her family dynamics—until her recent chat on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. 0 “LARGE”
In the interview, which dropped just a few days ago, Kai opened up about a bunch of things, including her take on politics today. She thinks both sides are getting way too extreme, and pointed the finger at social media for pushing people into echo chambers.
“If both sides could just meet in the middle, I think everyone would be happier,” she said. “Social media kind of feeds you one side or the other—there’s not much room for being in the middle anymore, and it drives some people a little crazy.”
One of the sweeter parts was when she talked about her uncle Barron Trump—yeah, he’s only a year older than her at 19, so they call him “Uncle B.” Logan asked what he’s really like, since Barron tends to stay out of the spotlight.

“He’s a great guy,” Kai said. “He doesn’t like the public eye that much, which I totally get.”
They also brought up that viral moment from the inauguration last year, when Barron was caught whispering something to Joe Biden. Kai admitted she has no idea what it was—“I never even asked him”—but she’s sure it was nothing bad, probably just something polite.
Heading to college soon, Kai’s committed to play golf at the University of Miami. But being the president’s granddaughter means constant Secret Service protection, which makes normal teen stuff like dating feel super weird.
“It’s awkward when you’re out on a date and they’re sitting just a couple tables away,” she laughed. At first it bothered her, but now she tries to ignore it and pretend they’re not there.
Do you think Kai might dip into politics someday like her dad, or stick with golf? What are your thoughts?
