From the outside, Kelly has the most successful career, two children, and the perfect marriage, but we never realized that all that glitters aren’t gold. They had deep cracks running in their marriage and it seems like it can never be fixed.

Kelly Clarkson announced that she wanted a divorce from her husband Brandon Blackstock in June 2020. The duo has been together for the last 8 years and fans can’t seem to understand what caused the sudden divorce.

Kelly cited ”irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce, meaning that can’t get along anymore and so the marriage can’t stand.

The news came as a shock to many as everyone thought their marriage was made in heaven and was always going to stand the test of time.

“It came out of nowhere. It’s all so sad for the kids. They were always such a loving family. It never seemed like they had any issues,” one source told E! News.

Many clues were there about their divorce, but nobody paid attention to them. Kelly Clarkson revealed some interesting things in her interview with Glamour magazine before the split became public.

She talked about how she spent the lockdown with her family on a ranch in Montana.

“Honestly, I have been on an emotional roller coaster. This has been really hard as a working parent, because I’m still doing all the same jobs. It’s been exhausting, honestly, cooking every meal and cleaning nonstop after toddlers and teenagers! Everybody’s learning from home now, and the teaching! So, everything has been crazy,” she said.

After the pandemic, many happy couples signed for a divorce and it seems the covid 19 lockdown hit a lot of people so bad. Kelly Clarkson wasn’t left out either, the sit-at-home and quarantine rules put a strain on their relationship and everything that always happens at home affects them.

Kelly after the divorce, reveals she has no intention of getting married any longer. She has been there and knows exactly what it feels like.

“Coming from someone who’s literally amidst a divorce, I can’t even imagine doing it again,” she said.

“I’m actually in that place where I think a lot of people, I’ve heard, that go through divorce, it’s almost like you start dating yourself again, like you actually make time for you again, and I love dating me.”
