Meghan Markle’s dress to the Queen’s funeral had ‘special meaning’

The Queen passed away on September 8th, 2022 and the entire Royal Family had their schedule filled with responsibilities and commitments.

The entire Royal family was present including Meghan and Harry who hasn’t left the public eye since their move to the United States as well as their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan Markle revealed during the interview that she sought suicide as a way out of what she was going through, but was advised against that as it will taint the image of the Royal Family.

Harry revealed that his family cut him off financially and he had to use the inheritance his mother left him to provide for his family. He even revealed that the Royal Family wanted Meghan to go back to acting in other to make ends meet.

They also talked about the racist remarks from the British media as well as some members of the Royal Family. They were worried if Harry’s children were going to be dark-skinned and didn’t hide their disgust.

Before they cut Harry off financially, the Royal Family hinted that they have no money to carter for Meghan and she has to continue acting to take care of herself. Worst still, the media sold false narratives about Meghan and the Royal family did nothing to refute the claim or protect her.

“[The British press] was destroying my mental health,” Harry said.

“This is toxic. So, I did what any good husband and any father would do. It’s like I need to get my family out of here. But, we never walked away, and as far as I’m concerned whatever decisions are made on that side, I will never walk away. I will always be contributing, but my life is public service so wherever I am in the world it’s always going to be the same thing.”

Harry had been stripped off all his Royal titles and was also not allowed to salute when Queen Elizabeth’s coffin passed by the Cenotaph in London.

On the day of the funeral, Meghan’s outfit left people talking as it seems to have a lot of meaning. She wore a black cape dress by Stella McCartney and it was similar to the same dress in navy blue to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the Queen’s 92nd birthday in April 2018.

She wore the black dress with a hat and the same diamond and pearl earrings gifted to her by the late Queen. She was seen shedding tears during the Queen’s funeral, she is mourning her husband’s grandmother. We wish her strength during this trying time.
