Melania Trump’s AI Video Ignites Wild Time Travel Rumors While Pushing Her Crypto

Melania Trump isn’t backing down on promoting her cryptocurrency, even after facing backlash from experts. Now, her latest video has people buzzing about something way out there: time travel.

Back when Donald and Melania Trump returned to the White House this year, they jumped into the crypto world by launching their own coins. A lot of folks called them out, saying it looked like they were just lining their pockets while in office.

Donald kicked things off with his token, and right before Inauguration Day, Melania dropped hers called ‘$Melania.’ It started strong with a market cap around $1.7 billion, drawing in plenty of investors willing to take the risk. But fast forward a few months, and it was tanking hard.

These are basically “meme coins” – anyone can create one, and there are thousands out there. At launch, both the President’s and First Lady’s made it into the top 100 by value.

Sure, they might have been eyeing some extra cash, but the criticism came pouring in.

Backlash Over Melania’s Crypto Venture

Norman Eisen, who advised on ethics during the Obama years, told the Washington Post this could be one of the biggest conflicts of interest in recent presidential history. He pointed out Trump’s deep ties to the crypto space, saying he’s trying to profit while also regulating it.

Over on The Kobeissi Letter, a respected voice in global markets, they posted on X calling the whole thing “beyond insane.”

“Just a couple days back, Donald Trump’s $Trump wiped out $7.5 billion in market cap in minutes. And around the time Melania’s token launched, we saw huge sell-offs in $Trump,” they noted.

In under two months, Melania’s coin had plummeted 92% from its peak. Donald’s wasn’t far behind, down about 75% from its high. By August, hers had crashed a whopping 98%.

Still, Melania’s not throwing in the towel. Almost a year after launch, she’s urging people to buy in. Last Thursday, she shared an AI-generated video on social media, framing the token as a gateway “into the future.”

Melania’s Promo Video Fuels Time Travel Chatter

The video did give the coin a little boost in value, but online chatter shifted to something else entirely. Is Melania hinting at time travel?

In the clip, an AI version of her seems to pop into frame like she’s teleporting, sparking all sorts of wild theories on social media.

One commenter asked, “Are we gonna get teleportation?!?” as first spotted by The Daily Beast.

Another went all in: “I’VE SUSPECTED IT ALL ALONG… THE FEELING HAS BEEN VERY STRONG! WILL WE BE ABLE TO TIME TRAVEL SOON? CUZ I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO WHEN WE LANDED ON THE MOON… AND BE CALLED THE FIRST CONSPIRACY THEORIST FOR CALLING OUT [THEIR] BULLS–T.”

“Bring on the portals, stargates and transporters. I’m 100% ready for our Star Trek future!!!!” chimed in someone else, while another said, “I want to go into the future with you. take us to the infinite!”

Not everyone was thrilled, though. Some pointed out Donald Trump was missing from the video, joking that maybe Melania’s done with him.

“Even @MELANIATRUMP envisions a future without Trump…” one user quipped.
