Mystery Woman in Prince Andrew’s Epstein Photo Revealed, Redacted Face Confirms Trafficking Victim Status

The Jeffrey Epstein scandal keeps resurfacing, pulling former Prince Andrew back into the spotlight yet again. Lately, some newly released photos from the Epstein files have people talking, especially one particular image that’s stirred up a lot of controversy.

In it, Andrew is shown in a compromising position—crouched down on all fours over a young woman who’s lying on the floor beneath him. Her face isn’t visible because it was deliberately redacted in the released version.

During a recent heated session in a U.S. Congressional hearing, California Congressman Ted Lieu grilled Attorney General Pam Bondi about it. He asked if the redaction followed congressional rules designed to shield victims of Epstein’s sex trafficking network. Bondi confirmed yes—that’s exactly why the woman’s face was hidden, to protect her privacy under the law.

Lieu didn’t hold back after that. He argued that the redaction itself basically confirms she’s a victim under federal trafficking protections. He went further, saying the photos amount to evidence of a crime—not just against Epstein, but against anyone who took part in his operation, including Andrew. “Not only is Jeffrey Epstein guilty, but anyone who patronized Epstein’s sex operation is also guilty of a crime,” he said, calling it “absolutely despicable” that figures like Andrew might be shielded.

He pushed hard for why no investigation or prosecution has moved forward against Andrew, even bringing up a supposed shutdown of related probes back in July 2025. Lieu was visibly frustrated, pointing out there are reportedly over 1,000 victims and yet “not a single man” has been held accountable. He even told Bondi she should resign if she had any decency.

Andrew, now going by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after losing his royal titles, has consistently denied any wrongdoing. He insists he never broke the law in connection with Epstein, and being named in the files doesn’t prove guilt. Back in July 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice stated there simply wasn’t enough evidence to open investigations into “uncharged third parties” like him.

Still, pressure hasn’t let up. Thames Valley Police in the UK have been in touch with the Crown Prosecution Service over separate allegations—that Andrew may have leaked sensitive reports to Epstein during his time as a UK trade envoy to places like Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore.

The Royal Family has mostly stayed quiet until now, but they’ve started speaking out. A statement from Kensington Palace, on behalf of Prince William and Princess Kate, said they’re “deeply concerned by the continuing revelations” and that their focus remains on the victims.

King Charles issued a rare public comment too, expressing his “profound concern” about the ongoing allegations against Andrew. He stressed that Andrew needs to address the specific claims himself, but added that the family would cooperate fully with police if asked. Both statements ended by reaffirming support and sympathy for all victims of abuse.

The title of some stories suggests the woman has been “finally identified,” but from what’s out there, her name hasn’t been publicly revealed—likely because of those same victim protections. The real focus seems to be on the claim that she’s a confirmed trafficking victim, based on the redaction and the lawmaker’s statements during the hearing. The whole thing just keeps the questions swirling around Andrew’s past ties to Epstein.
