She has been anchoring the affairs of the royal family. Prince Charles is next in line for the throne and he has mentioned a word he would never use.

Prince Charles told Edward he would never say “when I am King” as it was an emotional statement regarding the Queen.

Mr. Edwards further on the topic, saying: “It has been led by the Queen for the past 70 years.

And Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George will follow suit.

“Because they were raised in that tradition, but the Queen is still in charge at the present.

“She intends to finish the work, and no one knows when that job will end, but it will be a tragic one.”

He said, ” “I once heard Prince Charles suggest to me that I never say “when I’ll be king” since that is the day my mother dies.

“And I’m going to be devastated.”

There have been many stories of Prince Wales trying to shrink the royal family and it’s said he can do this through the new letters patent that restricts who can be bestowed the title of prince or princess.

Royal author and expert Penny Junor told Express.co.uk this could be done to make the Royal Family seem more “economical” as there were concerns it could cost too much to run.

Prince Charles has told the BBC in an interview he would not be a “meddling” king following questions of his politics affecting his role.

He was asked if he was going to continue with his interventionist approach when he ascends the throne he said “I’m not that stupid. I do realize that it is a separate exercise of being sovereign.

“So, of course, I understand entirely how that should operate.

“The idea somehow that I’m going to go on in exactly the same way, if I have to succeed, is complete nonsense, because the two situations are completely different”.

What sort of king will Charles be, and we are hoping he does better after stepping from the shadows of his mother.
