Outrage over Celine Dion’s absence from coveted list

Celine Dion was once the most well-known female vocalist in the world. But the vocalist is currently having a lot of difficulties.

Celine recently disclosed that she had stiff-person syndrome, a rare disease, and now she has suffered another setback that has infuriated her throngs of devoted followers.

In less than 20 years, Céline Dion went from performing at the Eurovision Song Contest to becoming one of the best-selling recording artists of all time.

The Canadian singer has given us numerous hits over the years, and she has always made it a point to look after her audience and make sure they get the most out of each performance.

Her voice is like a taste of heaven, in my opinion, and despite her enormous celebrity, she comes across as a normal person. That is why learning about the great singer’s struggles over the years is so tragic.

Celine Dion has had a great deal of pain in the thirty years that have preceded her triumph, numerous accolades, and a residency in Las Vegas.

She had to watch as René Angélil, her devoted husband, fought throat cancer. In the beginning of 2016, her manager and devoted husband, who had been by her side for 30 years, passed away from the illness. Then, on her husband’s birthday, only two days later, she lost her brother Daniel Dione to a comparable cancer.

But she overcame much of the grief and gave hope to those going through difficult times through the classic songs she wrote.

Celine herself now needs our help more than ever.

She has experienced health issues during the past few years. Her weight has frequently been in the news; followers have voiced worry that Céline appears excessively thin. When the 55-year-old singer seemed “scarily thin” and “extremely underweight” in a number of startling photos in 2019, many of her fans grew quite concerned.

The Canadian singer soon responded to the critics, though.

“The fact that I am slim and don’t put any effort in irritates others. I’ve always had a slim build. None of my family members are overweight, she claimed to The Guardian.

It is uncertain if her latest diagnosis was related to her thin appearance, but fans who have followed the celebrity for a long time are aware that she has always been quite thin and that she works hard.

We do, however, know that Celine has been battling debilitating and persistent muscle spasms for a number of years. These spasms even forced Celine to stop performing and postpone numerous dates for her Courage World Tour.

She was forced to take a step back by the “unexpected medical symptoms.” Celine expressed her “heartbreak” at cancelling the gigs in an Instagram post.

She postponed further dates on the North American portion of her world tour in January 2022. She subsequently disclosed in December 2022 that she has Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological condition (SPS). Uncontrollable muscle spasms are a symptom of the incurable illness.
