Prince Harry worries about Charlotte and Louis’ future because he wants them to grow up to be “exactly like him”

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to quit the Royal Family, they stated that they wanted greater independence and the opportunity to give their children more options in life than they would have had as royals.

In his candid memoir Spare, Harry discussed his own upbringing in the royal world—a life that, in the end, was obviously not for him.

As implied by the title of his book, Harry made note in it of his perception that he was the “spare” family member. He even asserts that he was born aware in case his older brother William required an organ or blood donation.

Harry was certainly second in line to William, just like William and Kate’s youngest son, Prince Louis, and daughter, Princess Charlotte, are. Harry now expresses anxiety that the two siblings will “end up” like him in an interview with The Telegraph.
