Prince William and Kate Share Never-Before-Seen Family Photo With George, Charlotte and Louis
Prince William and Kate Middleton have shared a previously unseen family photograph that captures a special moment with their three children. The image, released on the couple’s official Instagram account on October 25, shows the Prince and Princess of Wales standing with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis alongside members of a local mountain rescue team.
The photograph was taken back in June after Kate completed the National Three Peaks Challenge. Over a single weekend she climbed the highest mountains in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours. She finished at the base of Snowdon, also known as Yr Wyddfa, where William and the children were waiting to greet her.

In the newly released picture the family of five poses with the volunteers who supported her along the route. A golden retriever sits calmly in front of the children. The couple used the occasion of Mountain Rescue Awareness Day to thank the people who give their time to keep walkers and climbers safe.
In their message they wrote that through their connection with the organisation they have seen first-hand the dedication, professionalism and compassion that define the work. Meeting the local teams during the challenge this summer gave them the chance to say thank you in person for the vital role the volunteers play all year round. The post was signed simply “W & C.”
Kate undertook the endurance challenge in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, the hospital where she received treatment. She has spoken before about wanting to give something back and to highlight the wider impact of serious illness. The new photograph brings the family into that story, showing the children alongside the people who helped their mother finish the climb.
