Teen Father Accused of Horrific Newborn Murder in Snowy Woods

In a heartbreaking case out of Albany, Wisconsin, a 16-year-old boy named Logan Kruckenberg-Anderson is accused of killing his newborn daughter in a chilling act after he and the baby’s mother decided they couldn’t raise her.

It all started on January 5, 2021, when the teenage mom gave birth to a little girl. According to reports, Kruckenberg-Anderson took the baby from the house and vanished with her, leading the mother’s dad to panic and call 911.

When cops talked to the mom, she explained that she and the father had agreed they weren’t ready for a kid. At first, Kruckenberg-Anderson told investigators he gave a friend $60 to take the baby to an adoption center in Madison. But that story fell apart pretty quickly.

He later admitted to taking the newborn out into the freezing woods, stripping her naked, burying her in snow, and walking away while she was still crying. Officers followed his directions to the spot, but what they found was even worse—the baby had been shot.

Under more questioning, Kruckenberg-Anderson confessed to firing two shots into the infant’s head. He was arrested right away, facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a child’s body.

Now 21, he showed up in court for his last pretrial hearing this past Tuesday. His trial is set to kick off on October 27, as per court updates. This whole thing is just unimaginable—such a young life gone in the worst way possible.
