No one knows what this year holds, but it all started with us losing our sweetheart, Betty White and now Bob Saget is taken away too.
Bob Saget was found dead in his room at The Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida around 4 p.m. Sunday.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office said, “Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room.”
“The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene.”
No one can say for sure what led to the early end of the famous actor, but according to the statement from The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, there were no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.
It is left for an autopsy to be carried out on his body to determine the cause of his death.
Bob’s own family confirmed the death in a statement sent to USA Today:
“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the statement said. “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
Bob always loved to make people laugh and were thrilled to launch his new stand-up show “I Don’t Do Negative.”
He had his first performance the Hard Rock Live Orlando, on January 7th, 2022.
His last show was in Ponte Vedra Beach on 8th January. He took his time to reach out to his fans through his social media accounts and in less than 24hrs after that he was pronounced dead.
“I loved tonight’s show in Jacksonville,” Saget wrote. “Very appreciative and fun audiences. I had no idea I did a two-hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it. A’ight, see you in two weeks.
“Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this,” he added, signing off with “Peace out. ✌️”
The year was going so perfectly for him and then it all turned to a goodbye. May his soul rest in peace.
