Trump Loses It on Air Force One, Calls Female Reporter “Piggy” in Shocking Moment
It’s been another wild week for Donald Trump and the press corps that follows him everywhere. The president has never exactly been known for his warm, fuzzy relationship with journalists, but a lot of people think his latest meltdown might have gone too far—even by Trump standards.
The whole thing went down on Air Force One this past Thursday, November 14. Reporters were peppering Trump with questions about the newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails—emails that apparently mention Trump’s name among others. Trump brushed it off, insisted he knew nothing about them, and tried to pivot to Bill Clinton (as usual).

Bloomberg White House reporter Catherine Lucey tried to ask a perfectly normal follow-up: basically, “If there’s nothing bad in there, why not just release everything?”
That’s when Trump snapped. He whipped around, pointed right at her, and barked: “Quiet! Quiet, piggy.”
Yeah… he actually said “piggy.” The moment was caught on video, and within minutes it was all over the internet.

The internet did not hold back
People lost their minds online—and not in a good way for Trump.
One person on X wrote something like: “The guy who’s been photographed next to a bucket of KFC more times than I can count just called a woman ‘piggy.’ The irony is thicker than his… well, everything.”
Another pointed out: “Imagine Obama, Bush, Clinton—literally any other president in history—saying that to a female reporter. Just try to picture it. You can’t.”
Over on Reddit, the jokes were savage. Someone suggested female reporters should start greeting him with “Good morning, Mr. Fat F***” from now on. Others were less amused and called out the rest of the press corps for just sitting there quietly while one of their own got humiliated.
The White House spin
By Tuesday, the backlash was loud enough that the administration felt the need to respond. MSNBC’s Vaughn Hillyard reported that Trump officials basically blamed the reporter herself, claiming Catherine Lucey had been “inappropriate and unprofessional” toward her colleagues on the plane and that “if you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take it.”

What exactly she did to her fellow reporters? Nobody has said. It feels a lot like the usual Trump playbook: when he says something gross, shoot the messenger.
It’s not the only blow-up this week
This “piggy” incident wasn’t even Trump’s only press tantrum in the last few days. Over the weekend he told another reporter who dared interrupt him: “You are the worst. I don’t know why they even have you.”
And earlier in the week he went after ABC’s Mary Bruce over a Khashoggi question, saying their “fake news” was so bad that the FCC should yank their license.
So yeah… just another totally normal week in Trump world.
